Reservation on July 2nd, 2020 for 6 people, confirmation received with confirmation number 9032. On 08/15/2020, one day before arrival, I received a cancellation by phone on Norderney with the statement "We have been closed on Monday and Tuesday for a long time" ... although Google MyBusiness says something different, and Google actually knows everything There are more restaurants on the island ...

In a nutshell: very good! In my view the best restaurant on Norderney. The food is great, the service as well. The visit is absolutely worth it!

Very good food ! After eating 130, - however, I was politely denied two paper napkins. Unbelievable. So much for the service!

Restaurant '' Gute Stube Norderney '' is located in the hotel '' Villa Breeksee '' on the ground floor. Breakfast is currently being served there - exclusively for hotel guests. Reservation - due to Corona - required !!! Breakfast in 3 waves. 8h / 9.30h / 11h. 3 breakfasts to choose from. Everything you want to have optional will be met immediately. Be it a second scrambled egg or Nutella or rolls. Well solved! For evening !!!! .... "very urgently" reserve early. Because of Corona only about 4 tables for 4 people and about 5 tables for 2 people. Times for evening by Corona: 17h / 19h / 21h. Current Contrary to a notice in the hotel, the restaurant was closed not only on Mondays but also on Tuesdays. Please do not only hang the change on the restaurant door, but also exchange the other information leaflets. The restaurant is very popular and we were able to help good luck get a table for 9pm on two evenings. What was really nice, in contrast to restaurants in the city center, was this wonderful quiet for dinner in the '' Guten Stube Norderney '' a (really now) shouting that the distances should be kept, that I avoided the inner city after this experience. I don't have to be treated as if I were not welcome. Well, the landlord can only predict distances own. But there are too many vacationers at the same time. I can spend my money elsewhere. '' Gute Stube Norderney '' as well as the '' Oktopussy '' are TOP ADDRESSES! The food was perfect. That's exactly how I imagine dinner on vacation. With style. With calm. With respect. Friendliness. Great service. Open / relaxed communication. Find it good when it's TOP. But not TO MUCH or strained. I had to order the saddle of lamb in the '' Guten Stube Norderney '' a second time, at the second dinner. That was and is awesome !!! WOW. Very attentive staff. GREAT. Look for eye contact and someone was already there. And don't wait 10 minutes when the drink is empty and look and look and nobody feels responsible. The success of a restaurant is determined by the staff and the kitchen. Equivalent in octopus too. That was - unfortunately - only an experience on one evening. Reserve immediately on arrival or by email on the homepage. It is full. Really full. And then there are no more reservations. Staff / service also great. Open kitchen an EXPERIENCE. Octopus as a main course is a MUST. The octopus was beautifully presented and delicious. At first glance, however, it is very clear. But ... at the end I said to my wife with 'Greetings from the house', aperitif, octopus and red wine: '' You know, the chef was previously in a multi-award-winning restaurant. Now here in the Oktopussy (congratulations for this crazy name that was given to the restaurant !!!!) and now after the meal I'm completely satisfied. The man knows what he is doing and how he is doing it. I went out afterwards and I wasn't fed up with bursting. This is not a negative criticism, but a positive one. This restaurant was also perfect !!! Thanks to both restaurants and the team who gave / sold these great hours to the guest. I wasn't even in the milk bar for that ... hahahahaha ... as if I had to queue in front of the shop or beg. How do I feel ?!

We had a wonderful evening in the good room. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and dedicated! Already the breakfast left such a good impression that we decided to reserve a table for the evening during our vacation week.

Very pleasant atmosphere and well implemented hygiene concept, and a very attentive, friendly service. The food was very good and convinced. The pickled salmon was a dream.

More is possible ...! We went there on a Saturday night. Appealing from the facility and straight away: The food is great. But now mine: It is incredibly loud, it could be worked a little better with soundproofing agents and now for the organizational ... We had ordered an aperitif in advance, here only one came. The second aperitif came about 7 minutes later (pretty stupid if you want to toast to a nice evening / day together!). Almost simultaneously with the starter. The main course came shortly after the plates had been cleared. We felt like mass processing! How about making food an experience (the quality has it) and maybe giving a little time? In the end we were finished after an hour, which doesn't do the price / performance justice.

A successful and delicious meal! Due to the success of the Stuben team, I recommend making a reservation. The kitchen knows what it has put on the menu and is able to serve the culinary variations precisely. Here the team works together as a family. Special requests for the dishes can be gladly taken into account if they are addressed. Whether fish, meat, delicious! Bitburger on tap and own drink creations are available. The price-performance ratio is right and the atmosphere is very pleasant! A clear recommendation!
